As part of my involvement in a technology project for faculty, I'm creating a blog that friends and family can follow while I'm in Germany. I am leaving the US on September 1, arriving in Bielefeld after 3 planes and 1 train, on September 2. I'm taking one of my chihuahuas, Brandi, with me. I'm currently working on the paperwork for her, which is 1 set for the airlines and a different set for Germany. She has to have a vet check and forms completed less than 10 days before the first flight, and that paperwork will have to be overnight mailed to the regional office of USDA-APHIS in Lansing, MI, and returned to me before we go. For some reason, she didn't have to have the regional office completion of paperwork before we went to Austria. Her bags aren't quite packed either. She ends up with more official paperwork than I do, but less baggage!!
So much for now......
